Technology – what is an Alcein™
- An Alcein™ is an affinity reagent designed and made by Alces Bioworks.
- We created a computational pipeline that efficiently designs small proteins (Alceins™) to bind your target protein of interest.
- We can specify where on your target protein the Alcein™ should bind.
- Alceins™ are made in E. coli, so they can be produced quickly and in high yields.
- Designed proteins such as Alceins™ tend to be very stable.
